1) Profile floor: Diamond Grinding & Prepping Concrete - To desired CSP (Concrete Surface Profile) in order to create proper bond for coatings while using industrial grade HEPA rated vacuum dust extractor ensuring a "near dustless" experience. All dust will be neatly collected and discarded from homeowner's property.
2) Repair any existing visible Cracks or Divots - Keeping any and all control joints open as recommended. Cracks repaired with industrial grade 100% Solids Instant Patch Filler. When Repairing cracks, we follow a process of opening up torn concrete, cleaning it of any loose debris, and filling in the pits causing the slabs to bond together creating an even surface throughout.
3) Apply 100% Solids Moisture Vapor Barrier Base Coat - MVB will withstand 12-14lbs of hydraulic pressure. Florida is known for seasonal moisture issues that occur. A Moisture Vapor Barrier as a primer is HIGHLY recommended in order to prevent stains of moisture underneath the coating.
4) Broadcast 1/4 inch Polymer Flake until Rejection - For a full coverage we broadcast 2-3 times the needed flake in order to ensure all areas of basecoat are covered to create a uniform look across the entire floor. The Polymer flakes lay over the basecoat and bonds together during the curing process.
5) Scraping the floor to break off any sharp edges - When scraping the floor - we use metal scrapers with blades going in a forwards/backwards motion at a 25-30 degree angle. This ensures an even texture throughout the floor. Afterwards - Vacuum and clean entire floor of and all debris. This step is taken so that we do not seal over any loose flakes.
6) Apply a high solids antimicrobial Polyaspartic Top Coat -Enhanced UV stability, scratch resistance, and stain/chemical resistance. This is the top coat that gives it the "Shine" all the way around. The top coat withstands hot tire marks, prevents any delamination, pealing or chipping, and acts as a clear barrier over the flakes.
NOTE: The Polyaspartic Top coat is known to have a strong chemical odor that can last for 3-6 few hours after installation.
* All outdoor areas coated include an additive of Aluminum Oxide for enhanced "Anti Slip" Resistance*
