  • Any additional costs incurred due to unforeseen circumstances or changes requested by the homeowner will be communicated and approved in writing.

Permits and Approvals:

  • The contractor will obtain the necessary permits and approvals required by local authorities for the project, unless otherwise specified in the contract.
  • The homeowner is responsible for any fees associated with obtaining permits or approvals, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Timeline and Delays:

  • The contractor will make reasonable efforts to complete the project within the agreed-upon timeline.
  • Delays caused by unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather conditions or supplier issues may occur, and the contractor will communicate any delays promptly to the homeowner.
  • The contractor will not be held responsible for delays beyond their control but will make reasonable efforts to minimize any impact on the project timeline.

Warranty:

  • The contractor will provide a warranty for the services provided as specified in the contract.
  • The warranty period and any exclusions or limitations will be clearly outlined in the contract.
  • The homeowner is responsible for following any maintenance guidelines provided by the contractor to maintain the validity of the warranty.

Insurance and Liability:

  • The contractor will maintain appropriate liability insurance coverage for the duration of the project.
  • The homeowner is responsible for ensuring that their property insurance covers any potential damages or liabilities during the project.

Changes and Amendments:

  • Any changes or amendments to the contract must be agreed upon in writing by both the contractor and the homeowner.
  • Verbal agreements or modifications will not be considered valid unless confirmed in writing.

Termination:

  • Either party may terminate the contract in the event of a material breach by the other party.
  • Termination notices must be provided in writing, stating the reason for termination and any applicable notice period.

Dispute Resolution:

  • In the event of a dispute arising from the contract, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter amicably through negotiation or mediation.
  • If a resolution cannot be reached, any legal actions will be subject to the jurisdiction and laws of the governing state or region as specified in the contract.

Entire Agreement:

  • The contract represents the entire agreement between the contractor and the homeowner and supersedes any previous agreements or understandings, whether written or verbal.
