Despres Painting LLC agrees to furnish the labor, materials, and supplies necessary to perform the services per the terms and conditions in this Contract. Upon completion of the services, Despres Painting LLC will remove all materials, supplies, and other debris.

1. Project Description/Scope of Work

Please take special note of the job description. Despres Painting LLC is not required to perform any tasks not specified in the estimate.

2. Touch-up Guarantee 

• All Projects:
  • All product warranties are extended to our clients
  • 1 Free on-site touch up within the first year of completion of project.
• Cabinets:
  • Free drop off and pick up of cabinet doors/drawers within first 3 years of project completion. Call us up, drop off your door, we spray it another coat, you come back and pick it up!

3. Paint/Materials

• The estimate provided by Despres Painting includes the cost for paint and other materials. 
• Customers must choose colors at least 14 days prior to the project start date. Additional charges may apply if the customer changes colors after work begins. 

4. Unforeseen Conditions

If any unforeseen repairs arise, the customer will be notified, and an additional work order will be written up for the customer to sign for.

5. Customer Responsibility 

• The job site must be clean prior to our painters arriving. 
• Counter tops must be cleared and drawer face screws must be accessible.
• Cabinets only need to be emptied if insides are being painted.
• The work area must be free of other trades (some exceptions apply). 
• The customer will preferably be available on the last day of the project for a thorough walk-through with the crew lead.
• Paint Colors/Finish: While we are happy to provide our professional opinion/ provide you with a professional color consultation, the final color/finish decision is ultimately yours to make. Color is ultimately subjective and we cannot completely guarantee your satisfaction with the color selection. Any changes made to the color choice after paint has been ordered/after the project has been completed will be subject to additional charges.

6. Work Standard

• Despres Painting LLC adheres to the highest levels of industry standards and prides itself on achieving complete customer satisfaction.
• Painters will remain on site until the project is fully complete.

• When the project is complete, all job sites will be cleaned prior to leaving.

7. Insurance

• Despres Painting LLC is fully insured. A copy of our certificate of liability insurance can be made available upon request.

8. Cancellation

• The customer has the right to cancel the project up to 14 days prior to the start of the project and have their deposit refunded.
• Cancellations made after 14 days before scheduled start date will not have their deposits refunded.

9. Acceptance

• Please indicate your acceptance of this estimate by clicking the “Accept” button and virtually signing. 
• By accepting this contract, I acknowledge that I have read and understood the terms of this proposal.

10. Payment

• For estimates > $10,000, customer must pay 15% deposit of total estimate price upon acceptance of estimate. The project cannot begin until the deposit is paid. 
• The remainder of the total will be paid upon completion of the project.
• For all other estimates, a $200-$500 deposit is required to secure a tentative spot on the calendar.
• Deposits are refundable for up to 14 days prior to scheduled start date. If project is canceled within 14 days of scheduled start date, deposit will not be refunded.
• We take electronic payments (debit or credit card) but we offer a 2.9% discount for cash or checks.
