Thank you for choosing Felix’s Painting, where quality craftsmanship and superior service come together to transform your space. These Terms and Conditions serve as a binding agreement between Felix’s Painting (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the Client (“you,” “your”) regarding our painting services, including warranties for our Good, Best, and Premium packages.

By hiring Felix’s Painting, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Scope of Work

Felix’s Painting provides residential and commercial painting services, which include:

• Thorough surface preparation (cleaning, sanding, patching, priming).
• Application of high-quality paint using professional techniques.
• Cleanup and disposal of painting-related materials.
• Final walkthrough with the Client to ensure satisfaction.

If additional work is required beyond the agreed-upon scope, a written change order will be issued, and additional charges may apply.

2. Service Packages & Warranties

GOOD Package (Basic Protection & Professional Finish)

• Warranty: 1-Year Limited Warranty
• Surface Preparation:
  • Light sanding, patching minor cracks, and cleaning before painting.
  • Spot priming of bare or repaired areas to improve paint adhesion.
• Paint Quality: Contractor-grade paint (e.g., Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint or equivalent).
• Coverage: Protects against peeling or adhesion failure due to improper application.
• Exclusions: Cracking due to moisture intrusion, structural shifting, or extreme weather conditions.

BEST Package (Enhanced Durability & Performance)

• Warranty: 3-Year Limited Warranty
• Surface Preparation:
  • Power washing, caulking.
  • Detailed Preparation for Longevity, Standard or moderate Sanding.
  • Spot Priming With full Priming on Necessary Areas.
• Paint Quality: Long Lasting Profesional- grade Paint ( Sherwin-Williams Duration or equivalent ).
• Coverage: Protects against peeling, blistering, and minor chipping caused by workmanship defects.
• Exclusions: Damage from water intrusion, mold, or excessive UV exposure.

PREMIUM Package (Superior Longevity & Maximum Protection)

• Warranty: 5-Year Limited Warranty
• Surface Preparation:
  • High End Surface Preparation.
  • Extensive sanding, scraping, filling of cracks and holes.
  • Top- Tier Weatherproof Caulking(Sher-max Urethanized Elastomeric Sealant.)
  • Full priming of all surfaces using a premium bonding primer (Sherwin-Williams  or equivalent) to ensure superior adhesion and longevity.
• Paint Quality: Highest-quality paint (Sherwin-Williams Emerald or Emerald  Rain Refresh or equivalent) for extreme durability and weather resistance.
• Coverage: Protects against peeling, blistering, or chipping due to improper application or material defects.
• Exclusions: Normal fading, excessive moisture damage, or structural issues beyond our control.

3. Interior Painting Terms

Felix’s Painting provides interior painting services designed to enhance the beauty and longevity of your indoor spaces.

3.1. Surface Preparation & Protection

• All surfaces will be properly cleaned, sanded, and primed as needed to ensure a smooth and durable finish.
• Furniture and flooring will be covered with drop cloths or plastic to prevent paint damage.
• Clients are responsible for removing small, fragile, or valuable items from the workspace before painting begins.

3.2. Paint Application

• High-quality low-VOC paints are used upon request for healthier indoor air quality.
• Two coats of paint are applied unless otherwise specified in the contract.
• Touch-ups are included within 10 days of project completion if defects in workmanship are found.

3.3. Drying & Curing Time

• Most interior paint dries to the touch within 2-4 hours, but full curing may take up to 30 days.
• Clients should avoid cleaning newly painted surfaces for at least 14 days.

3.4. Exclusions & Limitations for Interior Painting

• Felix’s Painting is not responsible for stains, odors, or previous damage bleeding through if not properly addressed by the Client.
• We do not remove wallpaper unless specified in the contract.
• Paint failure due to excessive moisture, leaks, or improper maintenance is not covered under warranty.

4. Exclusions & Warranty Limitations

Our warranty covers defects in workmanship but does not include:

• Warranty will be voided if paint is not provided by Felix’s Painting.
• Damage from natural disasters, extreme weather, or vandalism.
• Cracks caused by structural movement, settling, or foundation shifts.
• Paint damage due to water leaks, mold growth, or moisture intrusion.
• Fading or discoloration from UV exposure and natural paint aging.
• Surfaces that have not been properly maintained after painting.

If a warranty claim is approved, Felix’s Painting will provide labor and materials to correct the issue. However, we cannot guarantee an exact color match due to aging and weathering effects.

5. Workmanship Satisfaction Guarantee

Felix’s Painting is committed to 100% client satisfaction. If you are unsatisfied with our workmanship upon project completion, we will address reasonable concerns within 10 days at no additional cost, provided the concern is related to our service quality and not environmental factors or pre-existing conditions.

6. Payment Terms

To ensure smooth project execution, Felix’s Painting requires the following payment schedule:

1. 10% deposit to secure your project in our schedule.
2. 35% payment due on the start date of the project.
3. Remaining 55% balance due upon completion of the project and final walkthrough with the Client.

Payments can be made via cash, check, or electronic transfer. Late payments may be subject to additional fees.

7. Cancellation Policy

• Clients may cancel their project within 7 days of signing the proposal and receive a full refund of the deposit.
• Cancellations made after 7 days will result in forfeiture of the deposit to cover scheduling and administrative costs.
• If the project is canceled after work has begun, the Client is responsible for all costs incurred up to that point, including materials and labor.

If Felix’s Painting must cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather or material shortages), we will notify the Client immediately and reschedule at the earliest convenience.

8. Liability & Limitations

Felix’s Painting is fully licensed and insured, but we are not responsible for:

• Damage to personal belongings left in the work area.
• Pre-existing surface conditions that may affect paint adhesion.
• Unexpected discoveries after work begins, such as mold, rotting wood, or structural damage.

9. Dispute Resolution

If any disputes arise, we aim to resolve them through direct communication. If necessary, mediation or legal action in [Your State] courts may be pursued.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By hiring Felix’s Painting, the Client agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
